Siena has started to talk a lot these days. Of course we never catch her greatest conversations on camera, but here is one of her talkative moments we did catch. Often she will find something to look at that captures her, like a light or a colorful pillow, and that will inspire her to talk.
Siena dressed up in a bunny costume for easter. We were given this costume by some friends and Siena just barely fit into it in time for easter. She only let us keep her in it for a short period of time because she got too hot. What a cute bunny rabbit!
Before Siena was born and I didn't know we were having a girl, I bought this vintage swimsuit because it was too cute to pass up. This past weekend we went up to Sonoma and it was finally warm enough to put her in it.
We had a small baby naming ceremony for Siena this past weekend. Her hebrew name is "Vered Rachel," which means little rose. She is named after her great great grandmother.
Siena's cousin Aya came over to play the other day. Aya calls Siena Baby Rose and always asks, "Can I hold it?" when she sees Siena. It's so nice to see the excitement Siena's presence brings to her cousins.
We have this crib that has been in my family for 80+ years. Siena sometimes takes naps in it. It's also where we store all her stuffed animals. Siena is getting so big that she can barely fit in it with all her friends.
Nick and I were talking while I was making dinner and Siena just fell asleep in Nick's arms. She just passed out listening to our voices with no complaints or anything.
We had lunch with Isobel and Anuta this week. I look forward to seeing what Siena will be like when she's 1 1/2 years old like Isobel. Isobel thought it was funny to put Siena's pacifier in her mouth.
Siena and I went over to Vida's for a visit. Siena laughed it up with Vida and when that tired her out we took a walk. Siena passed out in her sling before we even left the house.
Levi and Siena hung out the other day. Levi is Anna and Nate Collins' 3 1/2-month-old baby. Even though they're touching I don't think they really knew one another was there.
