earlier this month toscana turned two years old! we had a nice little visit with her on her actual birthday and the girls played really well together (sometimes they are great and sometimes it can get a little dicey, like true sisters)! rocco also got to visit with his friend mama aleishall. siena wants toscana to know that next year she has to have a big party with cupcakes and everything.

yoga.

rocco and i have been going to baby yoga just like i did with siena. it's a special treat this time though because alexis and stella have been joining us.

swimming...

grandpa seymour and grandma magda have a nice pool that siena likes to go to on the weekends. she enjoys dangling her feet in the hot tub and has fun jumping into nick's arms from the edge of the pool. nick says he doesn't want to teach her to swim because then he won't get all the yummy hugs. rocco and i sat in the shade and enjoyed watching all the fun that was being had.

auntie bubbles.

rocco and auntie bubbles had a nice visit last week. looks like they were singing to one another.

we celebrated nick's 32nd earlier this month. siena was really excited about the mini pink strawberry cupcakes, but was good about sharing them with the rest of us too.

julius and family.

siena had fun when julius and his parents came to meet rocco. she showed them all her new toys (when you become a big sister you get lots of gifts) and had fun outside in the sun with jaime doing chalk drawings.

pretty in pink.

siena and dada have been spending a lot of quality time together as i've been busy caring for rocco. last weekend they went to the hardware store and set-up a sprinkler system for the vegetable garden together. maybe siena will be a daddy's girl afterall.

a little behind on posting these days. however, i wanted to share these photos from when the maxon's visited. it was nice for siena to introduce her little brother to toscana for the first time. then the girls ate cookies and had some good play time on the bed while matt got to bond with lil' rocco.

3 weeks.

stella is our good friends alexis and rob's baby girl who was born the same morning as rocco. they're going to be special friends, if they're ever awake at the same time to actually notice one another.

more friends.

recently while siena is in daycare i have secret dates with my friends and their kids. i feel a bit like i'm cheating on siena, but soon i'll feel more confident in juggling them both and she will join us. it's also fun for siena's friends to play with her toys without her around since she has so many "specials, no touch" items. i love how curious the bigger kids are in such a new baby, it is really sweet.

face space...

teaching siena about giving rocco a little face space has been difficult. she seems to think that he can see her best when she's all up in his face. we'll continue to work on this concept.
