Hudson and Rachel came to visit yesterday. Hudson was born four days after Siena and is quite a doll. Maybe one day they will be in the same class or even go on a date!
This one is for the Levy's. Thanks for the custom bib and sweet socks...
Tutu Bobbin in bed with her three grandbabies in Sonoma for the first time, Yippee!
Siena got roses from her Papa and a heart ballon from her Baba for Valentine's Day. What a lucky girl.
We celebrated Valentine's Day in Sonoma with Siena's great-grandparents, Nonnie and Gramps, and great-aunt Joan. Siena was a bit fussy, but overall we had a nice visit with everyone.
Miss Siena Rose is showing signs of giggling. When she is in this mood, it is quite a precious moment.
Siena is over 12 pounds! She used to look small in Nick's arms, but not anymore. When people meet her these days they always mention her size or her big cheeks.
Siena is full of smiles these days. All you have to do is smile at her and she gives you a big one right back.
We were in Sonoma at Tutu and Baba's house for the past 2 weeks. Nick worked for my parents finishing the barn that my dad built awhile back. Siena and I hung out with Tutu, met some new friends, went grocery shopping. I even had a pedicure while my mom walked around with Siena in the stroller, it was fabulous! One night my mom gave Siena a bath in the sink, an event that quickly turned into a family affair.
Siena started to smile when she was around 4 weeks old. She also had a pretty bad case of baby acne at the same time, but the first smiles needed to be captured regardless of the imperfections.
Georgia seems to be just fine with the arrival of the babygirl. She sometimes watches over us like in this photo when we were taking a nap on the couch.
Miss Siena is a big yawner. It is quite cute I must say.
Our friends Lucy, 5-months, and her mom Katy came over for a visit. Katy is a friend of mine from my graduate program at Mills. Our girls are 4 months apart which seems like a lot now, but over time will be nothing.
It's amazing that all of a sudden a couple turns into three. It's also crazy to think that Nick and I together created Siena. I don't know when that idea will actually sink in.
Siena, Nick, and I took our first trip to Papa's house in San Rafael. It was one of the farthest places we had traveled at that time. Siena was asleep and quiet the whole drive. We took a walk around the water that he lives on.
Siena with her great uncle Ron and second cousin Vanessa.
We tried to give Siena a bath in her little tub, but she didn't like it very much. Now one of us gets into the bath with her and she becomes very relaxed. Nick said his first bath with her was the best 10 minutes that they had shared together so far. Naked baby in the bath really is the best.
Just a beautiful shot I wanted to share...
This picture was taken 3 days after Siena was born. My mom (Tutu Bobbin) stayed with Nick and I for the first 4 days. It made such a difference having her around to help us adjust to being new parents. She took care of all 3 of us so well. We'd like her to move in, but I don't think that would go over well with my dad.
Josah and I changed our babies diapers at the same time. Changing Siena's diaper is a very different experience than changing Muluk's, now I know what I have to look forward to.
Pete Wonder came over to have a rhyming session with Siena. Pete showed Siena his skills and was thoroughly impressed with her developing skills as well.
It's always nice when Siena opens her eyes and makes eye contact with you. Over the last few weeks she is up for longer periods of time and is really beginning to interact with people.
The Muscardini side of the family with the new addition. This photo was used by Tutu Bobbin as a New Years photo that she sent out to friends.
Siena Rose has four great-grandparents. Here she is with two of them, Magda and Seymour.
Giancarlo and I with our first born children.
Khalil and Aya now have a cousin. Khalil watched Siena come into this world and loves her dearly. Each time we see one another he says, "You didn't think you could do it, huh? But you're glad you did, right?" and "Isn't she a cutie patootie?" Aya gave Siena the nickname Baby Rose.
We had a sleepover with Auntie Tar-Tar. Siena put on her stylish italian outfit for the event. Hopefully Natasha brings Siena more fits when she comes back to the bay this summer.
