hanging with stella.

while sisi was at her sleepover we had alexis, rob and stella over for a long overdue visit. as always it was sweet to see the kids together. they are starting to pay a little attention to one another. come over again soon stella.

sleepover!

siena had her first sleepover last weekend at her cousin aya's house. uncle io and auntie nura reported that she was great and enjoyed all aspects of her sleepover. they went out to dinner, took a hot tub, watched a movie and were asleep by 8. we came over for breakfast in the morning and i think sisi was a bit disappointed to see us. we missed her, but it was a nice change to just have one babe for a night.

dottie turns three!

we had a blast at dottie's ice cream themed birthday party. the kids did a great art project, making paper ice cream cones, and ate cupcakes that looked like ice cream cones. rocco even enjoyed himself, even though he didn't get to eat a cupcake. thanks for having us dottie.

eight is great!

rocco is now eight months (and 5 days) old. we are lucky to have such a yummy little guy in our lives.

fun in the city sun...

pink ride...

sisi got a pink scoot bike for christmas and when the weather finally got nice enough she tried it out. she was a very good sport, never getting frustrated and listened to nick as he helped her learn what to do. there are definitely lots more days of practice ahead, but we're off to a good start.

a morning with toscana...

a weekend in the not so distant past, we had a nice morning with toscana and aleishall. after yummy french toast we went on a walk complete with baby dolls and their strollers (which aleishall and i ended up carrying most of the way home). always a treat to visit with you girls.

a nice dinner with savoy and her parents. siena loves her little red head friend and i'm sure one day soon rocco will too.

a visit.

great-grandma magda and great-grandpa seymour came over the other day to see the kids and give siena one last birthday gift. magda read siena a story and seymour watched rocco in amazement as he showed off all his tricks.

new years...

this new years we went to dillon beach with gabe, sammy & sadie, pete, jaime & julius. on new years eve the kids played, ate, bathed and went to sleep. then the adults ate fondue, played games and just barely made it past midnight before all going to sleep. new years day was a beautiful and crisp day spent at the beach. it was a short getaway, but a great way to start off the year.

selena!

over the holidays we got to visit with my good childhood friend selena and it was a blast! we ate waffles, took a walk and finished our visit with an art project. it's always a treat to see selena, we only wish she lived closer...

pink!

siena's favorite color is pink, i think i've mentioned this before. most things that she wants these days have to be pink. for her birthday she told us she wanted a pink wig. i think she got the idea around halloween when auntie tashi wore a long wig. on her birthday tutu delivered, but of course siena didn't want to try it on. however, she did want everyone else to including rocco!
