he's here...

vida and ron had their baby boy early this morning. he is perfect in every way. i'm excited to watch siena rose and baby bierman grow-up together. 

11 months old!

siena rose turned 11 months on thanksgiving day. we are so very thankful to have her in our lives.

nick is just completing a big project at work so we went to go see what he has been working on. it's always a pleasure to visit with dada in the middle of the day.

coffee with gabe.

siena rose and i met uncle gabe for coffee and sweets. gabe gave siena a piece of bread from the bakery and she was in heaven. uncle gabe knows what a girl likes. 

a nice visit.

dottie, mara, chuck and allie came over to see our new house and have lunch this past weekend. we went for a walk to the park and met two goats. one of the goats was named dottie, for real. the goats were off leash and so well behaved, i think we need a goat. 

date night!

nick and i went on our first "offical" date since siena was born this past saturday night. we've gone out to quick dinners, but this was a real date. we had siena's beloved auntie tar tar come to babysit, we got all dress-up, and drove to the city for dinner at a fancy restaurant.  i think it might have been the first time i really felt like an adult. it was an interesting experience leaving the house to go to dinner, all dolled up with my husband while our daughter was being babysat. i think we need to do it more often. tasha spent the night and we all went to breakfast the next morning. we love auntie tart tar, yes we do! 

backpack...

siena took her first ride in the backpack on saturday. she is as tall as nick, must be a good view. 

L is for lucy.

lucy, siena's older girlfriend, came for a visit today with her mama katy. it had been awhile since we visited and it was so nice to see them. lucy is 15 months old and is a good playmate for miss rose. lucy has a baby doll that she takes special care of, it's the sweetest.

giancarlo and siena rose had a visit the other day when we came over to give him a haircut. siena loves being at her cousin's house, there are so many new things to explore.

last day of music.

today was our last day of music for awhile. we brought nick and matt to see what all the fuss is about. it would be fun if they could come with us every week. siena and i where impressed with her daddy's level of participation, dancing and everything!

bye grandma mimi...

grandma mimi was here visiting for the past 2 weeks. siena and her had a lot of fun together. every time siena saw mimi she got totally excited and jumped into her arms. luckily mimi will be back soon for the holidays, yippee.

lazy sunday.

a visit to the park with hudson.

we found a great local park that we can walk to. i think siena would spend hours there if i let her. hudson and rachel joined us for a visit this past week. it was a pleasant afternoon.

growing.

toscana is getting so big, she can sit up all by herself. the girls are 6 months apart which used to make a big difference, but now i see toscana catching up to siena more and more everyday. soon they will be running together! 

miles...

this past friday miles and meridith came to visit. miles is almost 9 months now and is crawling. it had been some time since we visited and so much had happened.  he does this sweet thing were he wrinkles his nose and snorts, it's precious.  

balls.

siena has never been truly into any toy until now. she loves balls. she pretty much loves everything that is round. her favorite is a little soccer ball that alexis and rob brought her from italy. whenever we bring it out a big smile spreads across her face and she hugs it.
