baby sling...

tutu bobbin came over this weekend and we made siena's baby doll a sling. at first she wasn't quite sure about it, but a few days later and she tries to put it over her own head and also get the doll inside. too cute!

recently siena has started to back up to georgia's dog bed and take a seat. we brought out a stool for her to try and she loves it. she slowly backs up to the stool and carefully takes a seat. she also misses sometimes which can be funny. 

toy basket.

siena has decided that she rather get into her toy basket to play than take her toys out. the problem is she can get into the basket, but needs help getting out.

dinner & a bath

we had dinner over at aleishall and matt's to celebrate obama becoming our 44th president. the girls got so excited they decided to celebrate by taking a bath together.

on wednesday we took a walk to the park with anna, levi, toscana, and nick. the weather has been beautiful here and children love the park. it's fun to see how children of different ages enjoy the outdoors.

we thought uncle pete would appreciate siena's fit. however, we couldn't find new balance slippers in her size to complete the outfit, we'll keep looking...

dottie's one!

we went to dottie's first birthday party in the city yesterday. dottie was appropiately dressed in a red polka dot dress looking ever so darling. she was also working the guests showing off her new walking skills and just overall sweetness. we stayed after most of the guests left so siena and dottie had some alone time. siena gave dottie a series of birthday hugs and even a kiss on the cheek. we also saw our friends anna, zayneb and essie which is always a treat.

Mmmm, Mmmm, Good!

siena & toscana...

this week i started caring for toscana while her mom is at work. so far everything is going pretty well. i think the girls will learn a lot from one another and i enjoy the change of pace. i know this is a major change for siena, having to share mama, but she is doing good so far. the only time that gets a bit dicey is when i feed toscana her bottle. the first time i needed to feed toscana i just gave siena the boob which seemed to work (i have a photo, but i'll let you use your imagination). we had two good days this week and hopefully next week will just be better. it was also nice that we had other visitors like vida, lia, sinai and nick too!

we went to sonoma this past weekend to spend some time with my parents. siena was quite busy doing lots of work both in and out of the house. nick built a sandbox in the courtyard for all the grandchildren to enjoy. baba designed it and it's beautiful (sure beats the old one that turned into a large litter box).
