siena is still learning to close your mouth when you kiss, but her cousins don't seem to mind.

riding in the cadillac!

we bought a double stroller for the girls to ride in. they get excited to go in it like it's a ride. i call it the cadillac because its huge and somewhat hard to maneuver, but we make due. this week we walked to the park with essie (i got lucky and she pushed the cadi there and back). the girls both tried to eat many wood chips and siena went down the slide by herself, weeeeee!

walk with friends.

we took a walk last friday with some friends and their babes. siena and maya liked to walk by themselves which took awhile, but it was nice to have a leisurely walk.

couch fun...

just right!

sabina and sophie came over for dinner last night, as always a pleasure to be around them both. for some reason sabina (2 1/2) and siena are just right for each other. their age difference and energy's just work well together. the girls chased each other around the house shrieking and later had diaper jump around time on the couch.  watching siena really play with another child is a joy.

siena and i had a long over due lunch with alex on thursday. siena even got to try a french fry, yummy!

the girls found the fridge to be quite interesting this week. 

first word!

siena has many sounds in her vocabulary like dada, mama, yum, but her real first word is georgia! we thought that this might be the case about a month ago, however, we're now sure of it. of course she still doesn't say georgia regularly and if you ask her to say it she most definitely will not. she refers to all dogs as georgia which is really the cutest. one day she'll get that they are all dogs and they each have their own name. it totally makes sense that this is her first word because we're always saying "no georgia," "on your bed georgia," "enough kisses georgia," etc.

siena's great grandpa seymour turned 90 yesterday. we had a dinner at papa's house on sunday night. all the family was there to celebrate and eat yummy food. siena livened up the party by running around in her diaper during dessert.  

miles turns one!

we went to miles' first birthday this past sunday. siena met many new friends and enjoyed all miles' toys. miles was being his sweet self and really enjoyed his birthday cupcake. i think siena ate about 50 grapes, she was practicing her skills of holding the bowl while eating and standing.

brussel sprouts...

uncle wilbur brought over a brussel sprout stock that was almost the size of siena. she liked peeling off the sprouts leafs one at a time and pretending to eat it whole.

siena enjoyed dinner with papa jeff this week. she shared her food and everything.

we just wanted to thank you for all the cute clothes you handed down to us. siena has been wearing them often and enjoys knowing that they were once yours. 

we miss you and look forward to seeing you as soon. how is being three treating you?

ladies!

last week we went to the city to have lunch with anna, aida (4), zayneb (2 1/2), mara and dottie (1). there were so many girls with a lot of energy, felt a bit like daycare. as expected yummy food and sweet friends. i think aida and i had a moment, love that girl.
