we went to the local park on sunday since the weather was so nice. siena likes to chase the basketball around while nick shoots some baskets. she thinks it's a pretty funny game.

i think siena has enough stuffed animals. there is no more room in the laundry basket.

since siena was 2-months-old she has been quite expressive with her face. here are some current examples. 

dinner with sinai.

vida and sinai came over for dinner this week. siena was really into him. she even gave him a kiss, but it made him cry. after sinai got out of the bouncy seat siena tried it out. now she loves to get into it and make it bounce. 

together again...

after a week away from one another miss t and rosie reunite. how nice it is to have good girlfriends.

stevie.

siena is often dressed in clothes that could either be for a girl or boy and since she is big and bald she is mistaken for a boy regularly. sometimes when she especially looks like a  boy we like to call her stevie. we love stevie, he's great to have around.

home.

we're back home from a vacation to saint thomas to visit our friends devon and aaron. watching siena have her first real beach experience was beautiful. she loves to eat sand and run up and down the beach. more pictures to come.

nick came home with an empty jamba juice container that siena found wonderful. after playing with it for a while toscana woke up from her nap and wanted to join the fun. siena gave her the straw to play with at first, but eventually toscana got a hold of the cup also. thanks for the bunny bowl aleishall, siena already ate pears out of it this afternoon.

thirty.

auntie alexis turned 30 so we had a lunch in her honor. one very nice part of this lunch was meeting a new friend emmett who is 6 months old and the son of bronwyn. he is very cute and enjoyed sitting in siena's walker. the sun was shining so we spent some time in the backyard which is siena's favorite pastime.  

a baby shower.

on saturday we went to quinn's baby shower, she is having a baby boy next month. she has a nice belly that siena patted as if she was saying hello to the babe inside. siena got to visit with some of her aunties (vida, alexis, genevieve & natalie). she also met a new friend solomon who is 3. they chased each other around on the deck for awhile. my friend brie from college was there and she got to meet siena for the first time. it was a very nice day.
