baby brother...

we are all totally in love with baby rocco ziv silberman. he completes our little family. thank you for all your well wishes and love throughout the pregnancy and his first few days of life.

born saturday may 22nd at 2:35 am. 7 lb 9 oz 21 in long.

one.

our little friend julius turned one year old and had a party to celebrate. he is pretty much as cute as they come especially now that he's walking. siena got to see some friends and eat a cupcake, a day well spent. happy first julius!

3D.

auntie tashi bought siena a cool book of animals in 3D. it comes with 2 pairs of glasses, so siena likes to look at the book with a friend or lil' nicky. when siena looks at each page she reaches out to touch the animals (i have a video i'll upload if i feel ambitious). tashi even customized the glasses to fit siena's little head. thanks you tashi for the great gift.

our friend sinai...

siena and sinai had a nice visit this past week at the little farm. siena is a little timid when it comes to the animals, but sinai has no fears. he feeds them all, from the huge cows to the forceful goats. siena watched in amazement as he fed the animals two whole heads of celery. after walking around the farm, they ran in the grass before getting too tired to play anymore.

little nicky...

little nicky is siena's favorite doll these days. the other day siena brought little nicky out to the garden to play. she told nicky all about the plants and insects. siena really takes good care of her babies.

sonoma.

we had a nice trip up to sonoma on mother's day. siena wanted to sit on the island in the kitchen so she is away from my parents dog beni, even though he was also on a leash. she also got a lot of attention up on the island, even making some phone calls and calculations. i think sisi is a multi-tasker like her mama.

baby naming...

sadie had her baby naming last weekend in her grandparent's garden. while siena was occupied looking at the chickens and geese, i got to have a moment with sadie in my arms and it was beautiful. she smells so sweet and cuddles so nicely, i'm getting excited to have my own soon. alexis and i also got to grab a belly shot, she is due about 2 weeks before me.

siena has started to let me do her hair again and it is heaven. for a number of days in a row she wanted the same hairdo with the same hair accessories. i think we put in 9 or 10 accessories total, but the result was pretty cute.

sunny saturday...

last saturday we went to golden gate park with toscana and aleishall to play and have a picnic. it was a really sunny day so the girls needed their shades and got their feet wet in the water. after we got tired of playing, we ate some watermelon and blew bubbles. with renewed energy the girls played a game of chase and tackle. after siena would tackle toscana, she would give her a kiss on the head. a very nice saturday indeed.

last week siena had a chance to have a short visit with her friend lucy. i can't wait until siena wants to wear a pink tutu just because.
