siena and toscana dressed up as russian nesting dolls for halloween. aleishall and i made their costumes while also attempting to make our own and mini ones for the girls' baby dolls. but the girls looked the cutest, complete with vintage vests that used to be nick's and siena's great grandmother's, nonnie. we had a yummy dinner at toscana's with many friends, got a visit from auntie tartar, ate some candy and finished the night with a bath to wash off our red cheeks. one of the evening highlights was watching the girls greet trick-o-treaters at the door. they got so excited and the parents thought the girls were the cutest. nick was waldo of "where's waldo?" good dada for participating in the holiday.

oh my gosh, those halloween costumes (and the girls in them) are pretty much the cutest things ever! chuck just got to hear me talk about their cuteness for about 10 minutes. such and great idea!
