christmas!

the holidays were quite eventful this year with lots of family and many presents! it was fun because this was the first year that siena sort of "got it," however, now we have to think about traditions and how we want to teach our kids about the holidays. siena talks about santa and what he gave her and she still thinks that each person who comes over has a gift for her. since her birthday is just two days after christmas there was present galore.

early christmas eve mimi came over to open presents and the kids were very excited about all the gifts (check out rocco's face). we spent a lovely christmas eve with the silberman's at auntie roro, uncle robin and cousin sophia's house. then had present opening craziness with tutu and auntie tashi christmas morning. siena was most excited about all the fun stuff in her stocking, really we could have stopped there, but there were lots more gifts to open. we went to auntie bubbles for brunch and siena helped make waffles. then we finished the celebrations with dinner at baba's.
